Hey everyone!!!
I have been in Peru since...ummmm, hmmmm, like the 10th or 11th. I first went to Teen Mania´s headquarters where I had some training and then went on to Miami where we met up with all of the missionaries. I am a solo leader of an amazing team of about 16 missionaries. Our team name is FDA (Familia de Amigos) and our Theme is the ¨Big Picture¨(what lasts? you can only bring other people to heaven with you.
Well, for the last 8 days (15-22) we have been in Chincha and Pisco, both hit hard by the earthquake last summer. In Pisco we actually drove past a church in which about 500 people died during the earthquake. We have been doing ministry though dramas, door to door acts of kindness (help prepare meals, remove rocks, etc...), and VBS. Some of the door to door we did was in ¨Refugee Camps¨where people had to move because of the earthquake...I was trying to download some pictures but its taking too long...God Bless, gtg

It is Friday morning. I finally got onto you blog spot. I am sorry we missed your calls. I was working with Dad at Sperryville and no one was home. That is great that you have an awsome group of kids. And I am sure that you are an awsome leader!! May God continue to be with you. Try calling again so we can talk to you. I wrote a comment over a week ago but I guess I didn't do it right. Sorry that we missed you the last time you called. We were probably in Sperryville where we don't have good cell connection. It is now July 2. Are you in Argentena with the new missionaries? Linda Fumea said that people are getting saved and healed. That is awsome!! We plan to go to Maine from the l0th to the l6th. I am sorry you won't be there but you are making a difference in people's lives for eternity. Dad sent his love the other time I wrote on the blog. Love, MOM
