Support Letter for Summer 08 Mission Trip

(top: Flag of Peru, bottom: Flag of Argentina)
Dear
As you probably know I went with Teen Mania's Global Expeditions to Okinawa, Japan for a month in 2003, went to India for a month in 2004, and went to Peru for two months in 2007. The last eight days while in Peru, I became a leader (with a co-leader) of about 23 missionaries. I am looking forward to being a leader again this summer. This will give me the opportunity to grow as a leader both spiritually and practically.

The trip this summer will be from June 5-August 2. To start off, we will be doing training. While training I will also be getting to know my co-leader and other leaders. Later on we will be training the missionaries and getting to know them.
The first month I will be in Peru from around June 7- July 10. Our base will be Lima, Peru. We will be helping in the earthquake relief effort in Pisco and Chincha(about a week after coming home last year from Peru, parts of the coast of Peru were hit hard by an earthquake). We'll also be ministering through drama, VBS, and Bible Studies.

The second month (July 11-July 31) we will be in Argentina. We will be helping in social outreaches by providing food, clothing, and blankets for the poor in Mendoza, Argentina. We'll also be assisting in a Kid's day camp and VBS.
We then have debriefing (learn how to take home what we have learned on the mission field).
I need to raise around $2342.60. If you would like to support me in this exciting opportunity, please send a check, along with the included form, to Teen Mania Ministries. You can also support me by going to http://www.globalexpeditions.com/ and click on “Donate” at the top of the page. Any support will be greatly appreciated! If you have any questions please call me at (540)635-1302. Also, for more information feel free

support!

God Bless,
Adam Parker (Matthew 28:18-20)
