This summer missions!!

Yo people!!
Just wanted to let you all know that I have met my financial requirements for the 2 month mission trip to Peru from June 8th-August 4th. I know that God is going before me and preparing hearts for His Word!! So, the 1st month we'll be working with doctors in clinics helping by taking blood pressure, taking temperatures, and giving basic medication...we'll also be doing dramas for the patients. The second month we'll be doing more street ministry, VBS, etc...We are also going to visit Macchu Pichu, one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world right outside of Cuzco. So, for all who have given through prayer or financially I want to say a big Thank You SO much!!! I do greatly appreciate it.
By the way, if any of you want to go on a mission trip...let me know, I'll give you pointers and if you are close enough, I'll help you with fundraising. I personally believe that EVERY PERSON should go on at least on mission trip in their life, it broadens their horizons and will CHANGE THEIR LIFE!!! Plus, Jesus said, "Go ye therefore into all the world and preach the gospel...and lo I (Jesus) am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Did you know that before 1925, the predominant way to teach science was through a creationist (an intelligent creator made life) point of view? In 1925, the state of Tennessee had the Butler Act which said that you couldn't teach evolution in the classroom. The ACLU wanted to test this law in the courts and put an ad in the paper: “We are looking for Tennessee teacher who is willing to accept our services in testing this law in the courts.” John Scopes, a substitute teacher who possibly hadn't even taught evolution, replied to this ad. The Scopes 'monkey' trial then began. As a result of this landmark trial, today evolution is the only explanation given to Science in public schools. (Menton AiG Internet)

Why is it that evolution can be taught in Public School classrooms and not creation? Both are theories which, according to the online book Evolution in Hawaii, “in science, a theory refers to an explanation of some aspect of the natural world that is held with great confidence because it is supported by overwhelming evidence.”Lets take a close look at evolution. We all agree that the father of evolution is Charles Darwin. Different ones from the prestigious Zoological Section of the French Institute once tried to vote Darwin in as a member, but failed. According to a prominent member, “What has closed the doors of the Academy to Mr. Darwin is that the science of his books...is not science, but a mass of assertions and absolute gratuitous (uncalled for) hypotheses, often evidently fallacious...” If a prestigious Zoological Institute questioned Darwin's theories, don't you think we should too? (Darwin 2:400)

First of all, what is evolution? Webster's New World Dictionary say that, “evolution is the development of a species, organism, etc... from its original to present state, it is the theory that all species developed from earlier forms.” Most evolutionists believe that spontaneous generation (life from non-life) is what began life. In the beginning was a primordial soup that contained simple cells which through billions of years, mutations, and natural selection, brought us to where we are today. A world of amazing beauty and complex organisms. (Patterson AiG 139)

We can't see spontaneous generation happening today; its not observable, therefore it isn't scientific. Also, mutations never add new information. A mutation either takes away information from the organism or is neutral. How then could mutations aid the “original cells” in evolving into life? Natural selection, on the other hand, is basically survival of the fittest. In this process, individuals having traits that give a survival advantage tend to leave more offspring. These offspring then continue to pass on this survival trait. Notice that natural selection stays within boundaries. Cats aren't turning into dogs through natural selection, but they may be inheriting different color hair for camouflage so that their predators don't find them in certain environments. Natural selection stays within its “kind”(sort, variety, class). (Patterson AiG 237 ; Webster's)

One example of natural selection is a blind shrimp that thrives in cavern lakes. The blindness of the shrimp is passed on to its offspring because it is a beneficial (eyesight in continuous dark tends to bring disease to the eyes) mutation. This mutation is still a loss, no new information was added, it is not
an example of evolution. (Wieland Internet)

Lets say by random chance the “original cells” did evolve into the life we see on earth today. The formation of a 100-amino-acid protein by random chance is 4.9x10(to the -191st) and it is generally accepted that an event beyond the probability of 1x10(to the -50th) is impossible. If evolution did happen what
proof would we have today. First of all, wouldn't it be evident that humans (the more evolved) would have more DNA than bacteria (the less evolved)? The organism with the most DNA, though, is a bacterium called Epulopiscium Fishelsoni. It has at least twenty-five times more DNA than humans.

Transitional forms of organisms in nature and in the fossil record would also be evidence for evolution. Where are these transitional forms? Every fossil you see is fully formed. The Nebraska man, thought to be a transitional form, turned out to be an extinct pig's tooth. Darwin even acknowledged the lack of
transitional forms. He said, “But, as by this theory, innumerable transitional forms must have existed. Why do we not find them embedded in countless number in the crust of the earth?” (Patterson AiG 80, 81, and 142 ; Mordente Internet)

Evolutionists think the fact that humans share ninety-eight percent of a chimp's DNA is proof that we are close relatives. Since humans share fifty percent of their DNA with bananas, are bananas half human, or are humans half banana? The two percent difference in humans' and chimps' DNA is a
large difference in proteins produced. Its quite interesting to note that there are groups which are wanting apes to have human rights since they believe we are close relatives.(Patterson AiG 70, 219, and 228)

The Evolutionist's interpretation of the Fossil Record also has had a lot of problems. They believed that there could be no life in fossils thought to be three billion years old, but bacteria has been found in those kinds of fossils. Evolutionists also thought that dinosaurs lived seventy million years ago. Soft tissue has been found in dinosaur bones, how could this happen if they are seventy million years old?

According to evolutionists, mammals living during the dinosaur age were the size of rodents. Recently, fossils of large dinosaur-hunting mammals were discovered. Grass wasn't supposed to have been evolved till after the extinction of the dinosaur, but grass has been found in dinosaur dung. And how can there be fossils of plants and fish that were thought to be hundreds of thousands of years old but are still alive today and have barely changed (Ginkgo Biloba tree, Wollemi Pine, and the coelacanth fish)? Even after all these beliefs or interpretations of evolution have been proven wrong,
this theory is still taught in schools as fact. What has to be discovered to change this? (Patterson AiG 119, 157, 170, and 174 ; Hecht Internet ; Sherwin Internet)

One system that can't be explained by evolution is irreducible complexity. An irreducibly complex system is a system that needs every single part to work. A mouse trap is an example of an irreducibly complex system; take away any part of the mouse trap and it will not work. Another irreducibly complex system which is crucial to life is the interaction of proteins with DNA. Many
proteins have to interact with DNA and DNA is needed to make proteins that are used to transcribe the DNA. How could DNA and the proteins evolve at the same time? The whole blood clotting process is another irreducibly complex system. If one part of the blood clotting process is missing, it wont work.
How could the blood clotting process evolve with out each part? Organisms that didn't have the fully formed blood clotting system would bleed to death if they got cut. One last example of irreducible complexity are the many instances where a specie needs another specie to survive (the food chain, symbiotic relationships, etc...). How did a specie survive without the other as they evolved? As you can see, this system of irreducible complexity is very difficult for evolution to explain. (Patterson AiG 79, 83, 86, and 160)

Another complication for evolution is the existence of morals (right and wrong). If I am just an evolved cell, how am I going to feel about myself, what will my self-worth be, and what is my reason for living? How do I determine what is right or wrong in the light of evolution? Morals then become
“relative”, whatever I think is right, is right. Let's consider what a couple of well learned and credible people are saying about evolution and Creation. According to two lawyers, Norman MacBeth and Phillip Johnson, if evolutionists had to
prove their case in court, evolution would have to be thrown out for lack of evidence. H.J. Lipson, Professor of Physics from the University of Manchester said, “I think we should go further than this and admit the only accepted explanation is creation. I know this is anathema to physicists, as it is to
me, but we must not reject a theory that we do not like if the experimental evidence supports it.” Colin Patterson, senior paleontologist at the American Museum of Natural History and author of museum articles on evolution according to Darwin said that beliefs in Creationism and Evolutionism are just a matter of faith. How does creation explain what evolution failed to? First of all, just as you need faith to believe evolution, you need faith to believe creation. Creationists believe that an intelligent designer created all that you see. According to the Bible, everything was made in six days. All that we see today are ancestors of the “original creation” and what we have today got here through a series of natural
selection (no changing from cells into humans was necessary since all was created in 6 days). The idea that the earth is only about 6,000 years old also comes from the Bible. The idea of “living fossils” is easier to understand if the earth is only 6,000 years old. Also, all of creation was originally created as
complex as it is now.Genesis 7, 8, and 9 (Bible) talks about a cataclysmic world wide flood. This flood could explain the Cambrian explosion which is a layer of rocks where an amazing variety of multicellular organisms occur suddenly (before this layer of fossils, there hadn't been much fossils). During the flood, many organisms could have been buried suddenly through landslides and earthquakes.

The flood also can explain why whole dinosaur and standing trees fossils have been found. If the dinosaur hadn't been buried instantly, scavengers would have scattered their bones. Had the tree not been suddenly buried,
part of it would have rotted in the length of time it takes to fossilize the whole tree.Creationists who believe the Bible believe that God made humans in His image, which gives humans self-worth. Also, right and wrong (morals) are clearly spelled out in the Bible.As you can see, evolution has many problems with its theory. Why then does evolution have such a monopoly on the Science classes of our public schools? In the early 20th century, only creation
was used in teaching the origin of man. Let's get back to our grass roots! What do you think is easier to believe? We evolved from cells through billions of years and random chance or, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth?” It takes less faith to believe the latter.

Essay:

My paper, “Science in the Classroom, a different point of view”, was a very educational and interesting paper to write. What inspired me to use the topic I did was the fact that the book Evolution Exposed had so much data to disprove evolution. The topic I used, pointing out the holes in evolution and showing that creation has a right to be taught in public schools, allowed me to put a nice amount of this information into my paper.

As you can see, my teacher who graded the paper, wrote that my paper was done well and thought provoking.

A student who believed in evolution from apes read my paper and then my dad, the student, the student's boyfriend, the student's best friend, and I had a good talk about the shortcomings of evolution. We discussed how creation should be taught in schools also, not just evolution. They agreed that other ways of interpreting science, like creation, should also be taught in schools. We talked about the absence of transitional forms in fossils and about the fact that only creation used to be taught in science class. I also mentioned that we share ninety-eight percent of our DNA with apes and fifty percent with bananas. I know that some good seeds were planted in the lives of these three. My dad thinks, and I am in total agreement, that each student should have an opportunity, as they did, to be shown a different point of view in
science, like creation.

Reading Evolution Exposed, writing the research paper, and sharing the paper with others has been a strengthening experience. It has given me a stronger foundation in my belief of creation. Isn't it reassuring that we aren't some random mutation, but are made by the Creator in His image!

Lets see...where to begin...life has been good around these here parts. I've been taking a Speech class through a nearby community college, going pretty well. So far I have given a "My Hero" speech on my dad and I had to read (I read "Detention can be fun", by Bill Cosby, a really funny story).

I continue to work with dad...putting up fans, lights, etc...man, its interesting to see the dumb things home-owners or electricians-who-don't-know-what-they-r-doing do, like really mess up 3-Way switches!

I also signed up for an Ambulance Ride-Along program. I want to get a feel for the medical field and find out if I can stand blood and that sort of thing...maybe I'll become an EMT or Paramedic?

Also, on February 23 and 24 I headed up (with the help of dad and Caleb) a guy's time at our house through our church. Had a bon-fire, watched "Saving Private Ryan", went Hiking, talked about things of God...Awesome time!!!

Well, I am really looking forward to the Summer...I leave Virginia on June 8th and head to Texas for a couple of days of Leadership training and then Missionary training, we then head to Peru for about 54 days...afterward we come back to Texas for debriefing, they tell us how to take what we have learned back home with us. Afterward I am going to visit my brother, his wife, and their two sons (the second son is due in May!!!), in Dallas for 2 weeks...I hope I'll be able to do posts when in Peru, so stay posted.

Oh, the other day I dressed up like a Pirate :-)

The Christmas Season (and New Years)

Wow guys, sorry for not blogging for so long!!! Lots have happened since last posting:-) Hey, here's a list of some movies that I watched during the Christmas season which I truly enjoyed: The Nativity Story(The Christmas Story, very well done!!!), The Persuit of Happyness(saw this on Dec. 19th, my 21st birthday), Invinsible...

So on Tues, Dec 12 we had a special B-day dinner (so that my sister could be a part of my Birthday celebration) of Curry and Cheese Cake. Afterward we went and saw "The Nativity Story".

On Dec. 15th and 16th my church put on an awesome musical of "A Christmas Carol in New York". Some said that it was like professional theatre, one couple said it was good enough to put on TV, my sister said that part of it reminded her of "The Phantom of the Opera". I was Fred, Scrooges' nephew.

Dec. 19th was my B-Day. This evening 5 of us went and saw "The Persuit of Happyness, very good:-)

Dec. 24th we went to Church. Went to an open house thing where we had lunch and hung out till the Christmas Eve 7pm service. During the 7pm service I played an electric piano on the setting of an Organ, another guy played piano, and another played French horn...we then went over to a Christmas eve party.

Had an AWESOME Christmas with mom, dad, and my two sisters. Got clothing, calogne(got some for my birthday too, do I stink that bad?), a book, calender, "Cars" the movie, etc...

Well, we move on to New Years. New Years eve we went to Church and that afternoon we went to an open house at a place dad and I have been doing the electrical at for about 6 months(this is the most comlpicated house wiring job dad has done in his 25 years of wiring, it had dimmers, MC wire, etc...). We then went to a New Years party in the Berryville area. We played 4-on-a-couch, What would you do if...I would..., and fireworks were shot off. HAPPY 2007!!! :-)

Here we are now and its Jan. 3rd...This is going to be the best year yet with growing in Christ, His blessing being poured out, and Awesome things happening in our lives that we never even suspected. "For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says Jehovah, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope!!!"

Well, its been wicked fun here in Texas: hiking and getting poison oak with D, eating at Zaza's (celebrities eat there, had a Kobe burger), meeting loads of neat people (including Jerry Seinfeld's cousin), eating at a Turkish restaurant, watching "Conversations with God" (I don't agree with everything in his book, though), doing Turbo-Kick, hanging with my awesome nephew H, driving the Audi A4 my brother is leasing, loads of good memories were made since I've been here from Nov.1-13.

Thats weird, I made a post about being in Texas, but obviously, it wasn't posted for some reason?

So, I'm here in Dallas, Texas, visiting my brother D, his wife, A, and their son, H(whose two years old and loads of fun). I got here on Nov. 1st and will be here till the 13th. I've been hanging out and helping at my brother's gym that he started here in Dallas called Infiniti Health Club. Yesterday I hung out and helped at a place here in Dallas called Juice Zone.

Sunday I visited D and A's church here in Dallas, Fellowship Church. They talked about Being the person God made You to be and don't look at others and try to be like them.

Last night D and I visited a guy at a hospital here in Dallas, he's related to Jerry Seinfeld.

Its fun hanging out with my brother, yesterday we put on some Cammys and went hiking in the area of where he lives...

BTW, the other day I did a group work-out, it was called something like Turbo-kick, interesting, I tell you. If you ever need humbling just go to a gym and do a group work out ;-)

Summer Missions Continued

Hey Folks, just wanted to post my support letter for God's mission trip next summer. Here it is.


Dear Friends

As you probably know I went with Teen Mania's Global Expeditions to Okinawa, Japan in 2003 and India in 2004. Those were some awesome experiences!! My goal is to one day be a Medical Missionary, so, this trip is right down my alley(plus I love to act!).

On this trip to Peru we will be based in Lima, Peru. Our ministry will include helping a team of doctors with ministry to thousands of people coming for medical attention. I will have an opportunity to take temperatures, blood pressures, and administer basic medicine, while sharing Christ with large crowds of people through drama and personal evangelism. We'll also do VBS, visit schools, plazas, churches, and orphanages around Lima, presenting the Gospel at each site through dramas, assemblies, and interactive ministry. This trip also includes drama ministry in Cuzco, Peru.

I will be leaving on June 10th and returning home on August 4th. In the meantime I will be working to raise funds for my trip. The total cost of this trip is approximately $3602 , which includes: airfare, accommodations, food and training. I know that I cannot accomplish this task alone and I trust that God will provide the finances needed for me to go on this mission trip. Ladies and Gentlemen, drumroll please. I am happy to announce the new arrival in the Parker's Parking lot. Presenting Adam's new aquisition, the Green 1995 VW Jetta III GLS. 4 Door Sedan, 2.0L, Front Wheel Drive and almost 127,000 miles, sunroof, Cd player, Cruise Control(I can't figure out how to use it though). Here's some pics. What d'ya think I should name this car???

So, okay, I know I haven't done a post for a long time,

Sorry!!! Ok, let me tell you the story of "Our CARS".

One day I was driving the family Grey Toyata Camry

with a friend in the car too. I saw the Oil light come

on. Checked the oil, added some and kept driving

(the oil light stayed on). The car started making some

funny sound, ut-oh. The sound started getting bad so

I pulled off to the side of the road a put my hazards

on. I got out of the car and a little later someone I

knew pulled ahead of our car. They ended up giving

my friend and I a ride to our destination, thank God

for these people!!! Come to find out this car's engine

has basically had it. So now we no longer have a Grey

Toyota Camry.

Now lets talk about our Tank, the Blue Suburban. A ways

before the incident with the Camry we had quite the

adventure with the Suburban. I was driving with dad in

the vehicle, and we were headed home from work.

We had gotten into town, by Pizza Hut when the Suburban

started to skid and feel like it had blown a tire. I was

able to pull into the Pizza Hut parking lot. Come to find

out, the Tie-rod(I think thats what it is, the bar that

connects the front two tires so that they move together)

had broken. Imagine what would have happened had we

been on the highway doing 70?? Hey, God still has things

for us to do here on earth, He ain't finished with us yet.

Okay, so after the incident with the Camry I had another

problem with the Suburban. I was driving (notice when

each of these problems so far happen, its when I'm driving)

the Suburban on our long an windy road and it didn't "feel"

right. After I got off our road I pulled into a parking lot

by a restaurant and was able to call my parents. Turns out

that the rear end of our Suburban is messed up.

Now we'll talk about the Dodge Durango, our newest vehicle.

Dad and I were drving to work, he was driving this time.

When we started to loose power. We were able to "limp"

to an exit where our mechanic(I tell you, I think he will be

able to retire on our family alone!!!) was called and he later

came and picked up the Durango. Turns out, the fuel pump

had gone. So now, the only car we had to use was my sister's

'86 Honda Prelude, the one I sold to her (I still don't have a

car yet). We had only her one car for about four days.

Well, here I go again...So, last weekend (July 14-16), my family was in D.C. Here we stayed in the Wardman Park Marriot and my parents attended meetings concerning their internet business. While they were in meetings, my little sister and I hung out. The first evening we meandered down the street and found a Chipotles' Mexican Restaurant(Caleb, is you mouth watering?), I actualy had never eaten at one before. Also, they were not bloomin expensive:-) So, I got a ummm...thing-a-majig...a tortilla with beef, lettuce, and stuff...pretty good...Mexican food...we ate and visited, good
times!!


The next day(Sat.) mom, dad, my little sis, and myself took a Metro into the Mall area. We went to the Art Museum and hit the Natural History Museum where we saw the IMAX, "Aliens of the Deep". They kepton referring to the earth being Billions of years old. I don't think so. *that reminds me, remember Ken Ham and the song that guy would sing, "Millions of dead things buried in rock layers, laid down by water, all over the earth...* Ok, excuse the tangent (Eh, Mr. P;-)

Mom and Dad had to leave for some more meetings so they headed back and my sis and I hung around a bit. We then had the adventure of taking the Metro all the way back, no problem. That night we ate at a chinese restaurant.

Sunday morning we packed up. That morning the people running the meetings that mom and dad had been going to had a Church Service, lots of people were there. We got there to the meeting kinda late, but what we saw was neat. The host and his wife gave their testimony and then had an Altar Call, alot of people went forward. After people went forward my dad sang "Watch the Lamb"http://www.rayboltz.com/project_pages/WatchTheLamb/watch_the_lamb.php... Awesome!!!

After the church service, my sis and I went to the Zoo:-) It sure was HOT. We walked allot...saw animals...walked...saw more animals...and got hot.

Memories :-)

Here today I am going to relate to ya'll some funny memories from my life.

Memory #1) When I was in 3rd grade I went to a public school in Maine. There they made quite a big thing about Earth Day. I remember memorizing songs for an Earth Day program. One song went like this:

Earth Earth baby, your the only one, the only Earth I've ever known under the sun
I'll fly with you wherever you go, I want, I want, I want to tell you
I love you so, I love you so.

Earth Earth baby, I love everything about you, Earth Earth baby, I couldn't live without you
You are so awesome, your a dream come true
Earth Earth baby, I will always love you...

Isn't that a riot. I remember that when we performed this at the Earth Day program I had a jean jacket on with the collar flipped up and sunglasses.

Memory #2)
My sister will love me for this one:-)

One day my sister and myself were on our way to a soccer game. We were driving on the high-way when I saw a truck pulling a car. I said to my sister, "Look at that". And she replied, "Thats not very safe". She didn't notice that one was towing the other, it looked to her that one car was tailgaiting the other.

Memory #3)

You may remember from my first post that I went to Okinawa, Japan in 2003. Well, while in Okinawa my mission team visited an English classroom at a primary school. Here we were split up into small groups and went to different "stations"(one group did origami). My group went to a "station" where some girls showed us the Shumisen(something like that). It had 4 strings and no frets, kinda guitarish.

After these "stations" we performed a funny skit for the students called the "Catch All" (I wont explain it now, but if you want to know what the "Catch All" skit is then post it in the Comments and I'll explain). After that 10 of us missionaries made a line facing 10 Okinawan students. We then took turns playing "Jon, Ken, Pon"(Rock, Paper, Scissors) with the person right across from us. The winner would ask the other a question in English(we had a sound box, so the Questions and Answers were said into the mic).

*This is where it gets interesting ;-)*
After we had gone down the line, the teacher of this English class asked, "Are there any more Questions?", and me, with my Western ear thought she said, "Are there any Christians?" (remember, this lady had quite the Japanese accent). I saw a few of the Okinawan students raise their hands and thought it sad that there were only a few Christians in this group.Of course, all of us missionaries raised our hands. Then she said, "Okay we are going to go down the line and say our Questions" (and I'm thinking she's saying, "Okay we are going to go down the line and say we're Christians.").

So, I was first in line. I took the mic. Stood up. And I said, "I Am A Christian!!!"

I will never live this down. I remember our Team Leader gathering us all together and saying, "Hey guys, guess what, I Am A Christian."

Don't be surprised if someone says, "Any Questions?" and I say, "I am a Christian" :-)

Memory 4.)

You might not think this very funny, you just had to be there!

Well, it was my first year of Bible School up in NH. Also, I am one of those people who like to Scare people. One evening I was heading up to the dorm and I knew my buddy was behind me(and the dorm was dark). So I went into the dorm and sat right by the door. When my buddy came in I grabbed his leg.......he let out an AWESOME SCREAM!!!!! LOL, he was heard by a guy in the main house (where we have our dinners)....

I am waiting here for my image to upload. Man, sure takes a bit, probably don't help that we have dial-up. We might get to have DSL in 6ish months, hurray!!! Hmmmm...so, church was good today (7-9-06). The pastor talked about how God brings us through tests (like God asking Abraham to sacrifice Isaac and then providing a ram{Gen. 22:1-18}) to see where our relationship with Him is or to see if we understand what we have learned from Him. Also, God will provide whatever you need in your "Test" to accomplish His will. Good stuff huh?

Still waiting. I tell you, this is going Slower Than A Slick Slug on Salt!!!

Got a new Cd recently by Mercy Me called "Comming up to Breathe", I'm enjoying it!! (please forgive me as I keep on blabbing on about random stuff as I wait for my pic). Test drove a BMW on Friday. The engine is Awesome, quiet and powerful. The bad things about it are 1.)Its a low rider, thus driving it over back roads will eat it up 2.)The sunroof needs a new wire to make it work 3.) One panel with the speaker is off one side and on the other side the panel is real loose.
I'm thinking I probably wont buy this one, we'll see?

So, this week from Wed.-Sat. I was planning on going to a HUGE Christian gathering in Penn. called Creation. There was supposed to be about 20 Christian bands and 10 speakers and over 100,000 people. I was pretty excited about it, some people from church (about 20) were gonna go and camp. Than :-(....it was
CANCELLED because of
the rain. I think we should just go up
and kayak.

I tell you, this computer is ANNOYING. I was working on this blog and just lost a whole lot, RATS!!!!! Oh well.

As I was saying. As a result of not having Creation there was a get together at our house. Friday night we ate some food that was going to be used at Creation. I also set up our Big sound system and a projector and watched "8 Below" in our "outdoor theater(our neighbor did call saying it was too loud). The movie was good; courage, bravery, sadness, loyalty, good stuff.

The next day some of us went hiking to a BEAUTIFUL waterfall near our house, lots of fun. I then jogged back gome (lots of sweat).

Well, dad and I are pretty close to finishing up the "rough-in" of an addition which is bigger than the original house. The owner is a plastic surgeon too. Dad says that this is the most difficult or complex job he has done in his 25 years of electrical (there's all these dimming systems, and we're using wire wrapped in metal, etc...). Ok, enough.

Pray for my sister who is heading off to Thailand to teach in a school with refugee children. This is a mission trip, and she leaves on the 5th.

Look at me, I'm taking my first baby-step in Blogging!! So, my name is Adam, born on Dec. 19, 1985 in Brunswick, Maine. I am a born again Christian, I love God so much and desire to follow Him all my life and do great things for Him!! When I was 10years old my family moved down to Northern Virginia in B-town because my dad was called to be a pastor here.

Since being down here in VA I have gone on two mission trips with Teen Mania's Global Expeditions, I think that every Christian should GO on a mission trip sometime in their life!! The mission trips I took with GE to Okinawa, Japan and India really opened my eyes to other cultures and places.

Well, the last two years I have been at Bible School at a Place known as F.B.I. in New Hampshire. We are right next to Mt. Manadnock, very beautiful!! Here I learned about the Bible and also learned other useful things (its a work-study program) like how to Chain-Saw, change window panes, DJ a low-powered Christian radio station, etc... The School sport is Volleyball and I have learned to really enjoy volleyball!! This is a 3 year program and I'm still unsure if I'll be going back next Fall, I'm still praying about it.
